Lee Magnet Program Parents & Boosters
We welcome parent involvement at our school and in
all of our programs. It is the philosophy of the
magnet program and Lee High School to embrace and
encourage parental involvement in all aspects of the
school program. Parents and volunteers are needed
serve as members and officers of organizations;
assist in fund-raising, publicity, and project
organization; volunteer to help stage our concerts
and productions; offer technological and material
assistance and support; chaperone; and act as a vocal
and supportive audience for all the magnet programs.
Please contact the leads of the organizations below if you are interested in providing your time and energy for the betterment of our students and their programs.
Lee High School Parent Teacher Student Association -- Marilyn King-Jordan, president -- comited2thecause@aol.com -- coordinates among parents, faculty, staff, and students to improve the Lee High School experience. Coordinates school open houses and communicates upcoming social, academic, and program events to student families. Raises money to provide extra resources that are not available in the city school budget.
Lee Association of Magnet Parents (LAMP) -- Bob Becher, president -- bkbecher@knology.net umbrella support group for all the magnet programs. It works to coordinate among each of the magnets and represent the interests of the magnet programs with the school board and throughout the community.
Lee Lyric Theatre Board -- Tina Bozeman, president -- jtbozeman@knology.net -- responsible for coordinating faculty, staff, and volunteer efforts to stage our theatrical musicals, including publicity, costumes, props, sets, ushers, and concessions
